Meet Dr. Eric Cui

Optometrist at HB Eye Care Center in Shrewsbury and West Boylston, MA

Photo of Dr. Eric CuiDr. Cui strongly cares for his patients and strives to provide the best eye care possible for each individual patient. Growing up and living in Massachusetts for most of his life, Dr. Cui attended Boston University for his undergraduate degree in Biology, and subsequently the Illinois College of Optometry, where he earned his doctorate.

His clinical training includes an ocular disease-focused program at a Veterans Affairs hospital specializing in glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy treatment, various private practice clinics that provided not only routine eye care, but treating certain visual disorders with specialty contact lenses, such as ortho K lenses for myopia control, scleral lenses for keratoconus, and GP lenses. Dr. Cui also completed rotations throughout various departments at the Illinois Eye Institute specializing in ocular diseases, contact lenses, and pediatrics.
